"Most Wanted" Roger Dubuis Easy Diver

Roger Dubuis is well known for their complicated timepieces, specifically, their tourbillons. They also make minute repeaters, chronographs and divers. Personally, I have always liked their flagship Skeletonized Excalibur Tourbillon (which will be featured on Monday), but at $250,000, it is unaccessible to most consumers. They do actually make some more affordable timepieces too. In fact, as of 2010, they have lowered their entry level price point for men's watches by 25-30%. The men's Easy Diver collection, now starts at just under $13K. This still may sound high, even though they took about $5,000 off the previous model's price. But it is all relative, and for an exclusive, limited production, in-house made movement, this price is about right.

The 2010 Roger Dubuis Easy Diver RD821 caliber, which is based off of an optimized RD 14 caliber. This timepiece, like all Roger Dubuis timepieces designed for 2010 and beyond, meets the prestigious aesthetic Poinçon de Genève requirements, and the COSC certified chronometer requirements. According to Dave Chaumet, Head of Customer Service & Quality at Roger Dubuis, they are also working with, Timelabs, to add a chronometric requirement to the Geneva Seal certification process. If this happens, the watch will have three different third party labs who certify their timepieces. Honestly, having both the Geneva Seal and COSC, is already outstanding.

The first year has passed while Roger Dubuis has been under the management of the highly respected Richemont group. And it appears that the acquisition is beginning to pay off for the brand, and for Richemont. In a few years since the acquisition, they are offering lower prices and higher quality. And arguably better looking designs (due much in part I believe, to the new design team that is headed by former Chopard L.U.C. designer, Lionel Favre). While visiting the factory, I also had a chance to view the majority of the new 2010 timepieces. The Easy Diver with silver dial (pictured above), was easily my favorite of the new Roger Dubuis timepieces, other than the bestseller, Skeletonized Excalibur Tourbillon. The newly designed Easy Diver features a 46 mm stainless steel case, much like the previous model it replaces. However, the dial and overall look have been refined and upgraded, while maintaining the contemporary look that Roger Dubuis is known for. They even added some carbon fiber inserts into the side of lugs, which was purely for aesthetics, but a good choice in my opinion. It adds to the sportiness, which is almost always a good thing on a diver watch.

The dial is very simple to read, and I really like the contrast of the larger orange Superluminova applied markers, on top of the silver dial. The small seconds sub-dial further adds to the sportiness of this diver, while not being quite as busy as the chronograph version.

The strap is natural rubber, with a nicely engraved signature folding clasp in stainless steel.

Also with a web directory, you can choose certain keywords, known as tags. These tags are useful for when someone is looking within a directory for a service or product. For example, you own a plumbing business in the United Kingdom. You can put a label that says, plumbing services in the UK. When a person performs a search for plumbing services in the UK, your site will appear in search results.

Other benefits of directory submission are one way backlinks. One way backlinks is just as it sounds, its one way. This means that there is no need to offer a link in return to the site, they just link to you. There are several web directories around and most of the directories are free and do not require reciprocal links (link to their website). Currently, thousands of directories over the Internet offer listings for free.

Although it is relatively quick and easy for a person to add the listing information and press submit, doing that for thousands of directories can be quite a daunting task. Lets face it, time is money and most of us do not have hours / days to submit our websites, even if the benefits are very rewarding.

So, lets face it, time is money. Weve all heard the saying, but its true, you built a website today, you want people to visit tomorrow. Well one way to save time and money is to pay someone to do the work for you. This means a small amount of your budget set-up for a second company to go to each directory and submit the information for you. Meaning that you have hundreds / thousands of backlinks in pointing to your website without any effort. The best thing about using another company to do the work for you is the experience of the company in its field. Most companies that offer a directory submission services know their market, to know their customers wants / needs and especially to know the best places to submit your site information.

The way all sites, not just web directories are listed in order of priority is something called PageRank. One site is marked from zero to ten; zero is the lowest and ten the highest. Most search engines see your site as being important to them if you have high page rank backlinks. In turn, they rank you higher, meaning more traffic and more sales.

My first jailbreakp

So finally today is a day to jailbreak my apple itouch 2g. It comes with OS 2.0 and few bugs and missing features

Let’s first talk about bugs which I faced. On the very first day i installed few application ( luckily free ) and very next day when I sync my device all my application stops working and that was the most annoying thing I ever faced on itouch. To resolve this surf through sites but ain’t found any solution to this.

Missing features
One of the biggest missing feature was copy past, I have habit of writing my post in notepad and then copy it and mail it to me because I am not interested in using direct mail feature

Another big missing feature is bluetooth
Even though your itouch hardware is equipped with bluetooth hardware u can not use it because of no software support.

Hence it was worth to move to next version of it’s software/ os. Here i am not gonna mention all the steps to jailbreak, because its of no use to mention the stuff which are already available at many site. i ll just point you to right direction
